All storage is secured in wooden storage vaults. The units measure 7’ x 5’ x 7’, or 200 cubic feet. Each unit roughly holds one room to one room and a half of furniture and boxes depending on the bulkiness of the articles. You can rent as many or as few units as you need.

You can bring your storage items to our warehouse yourself, or you can hire our professional moving crew to pick up the storage from your home. Upon arrival at our warehouse, our crew wraps your furniture in moving pads and shrink wrap to ensure your goods stay protected. The crew will expertly load all your items into the vaults, maximizing the space to save you money.

Your vault is then transferred from the dock to its location in the warehouse, where it is part of our computerized tracking system. You will also receive an itemized inventory of all furniture pieces and boxes that you have in storage with us.

When you’re ready to move out of storage our professional moving crew will deliver the storage to your home or help you load the inventory into your vehicle. We will check off each item that leaves our storage facility on the itemized inventory, ensuring the condition and safe transfer of your storage.

Coastal has hundreds of oversized items in our storage facilities. These items need special care and exceed the size of our storage units.

We professionally wrap or crate these items and store them separately in our specialty oversize section. Oversize items include large sofas, tall armoires, motorcycles, riding lawnmowers and other items that exceed our 7’ x 5’ x 7’ storage units.
